The sleeping aid did its job. I fell asleep within half an hour of taking it. I wish it hadn’t worked at all.
I saw you with a little more detail this time. You’re a muscular human etch with a darkness about you. My heart raced as I watched you in the distance walking toward me, snarling. I slept a full five hours before you ran toward me menacingly and I woke in a cold sweat.
The doctor wasn’t right about letting my dream play out. I’m more afraid than I had been in our previous encounters.
I fear you, but I won’t live like this anymore. I’m going to confront you tonight. Tear me apart if you want, but you will haunt me no more.

“Why don’t you believe I’m real?” He asked, somewhat disturbed.
“Because you’re not.”
“I’ll prove it, my precious.” His lips curled.
“I dare you.” I challenged him.
“Do you, now?” He chuckled. “You’re sure?”
“Positive,” I said without hesitation.
“I warn you, I am quite the competitor.”
“We’ll see who wins…” I smirked.

Alright! Where to start! When I first started this book I really didn't know what to expect. My first thought when I started reading was wow this story is really different then what I have read before, I would definitely sum this book up as a great read! I love the mix up of Greek Mythology throughout the book and really hope to see more of it in the next one! Isis is a 17 yr old high school girl trying to fight her night terrors that have plagued her for months. It isn't tell she finally gets fed up with not sleeping and stands up to the nasty black shadow in her dreams, that she find out it isn't all it was cracked up to be. From there her life takes a wild ride of twist and turns that not only beats Isis down but make her stronger and more determined to fight for her life and her love! I really enjoyed each character in this book, all brought something to the story both good and bad! I mean Who wouldn't love to meet hottie David Chios in your dreams?? I know I wouldn't ! He was the idle gentlemen, caring and his love for Isis is amazing and enchanting, he really is who made me fall in love with this book. I also really like Galen, Davids brother, I know he was bossy but I really loved his bits of humor he threw out there! I really dont wanna give out anymore details, I am afraid i will just keep spilling the secrets and never shut my trap!!! You need to read it yourself, I know you'll like it!
Over all this book was a great read, followed great and def had my hooked to the end! I will recommend you buy this....love this...and daydream about David!!
My only complaints is I felt we never really get to even find out WHAT a Creatura is? It's the name of the book and plays a big part in it..did I miss it somewhere?..and second what a CLIFFHANGER!!!!!! Please tell me someone knows about a second book and when it is going to be out!!
